Congratulations to all students who completed the Youth Leadership and Public Speaking graduation night last Monday evening. The standard of the speaking was exceptional. Well done!

I’m sure all of the skills you have learnt will hold you in good stead for the future public speaking opportunities.
The end of the year is closing in on us very quickly and we have some important dates coming up.
They are:
Put them in your diary!
Well after a huge week at Camp Coolamatong we are back at school and looking forward to getting stuck in to My Restaurant Rules. Camp Coolamatong really lived up to it’s reputation and left 5T and 5/6C exhausted from all the brilliant activities. A few of the highlights were the ninety mile beach trip, a night walk, the food and never being stuck for something to do. A massive thanks to Tegan for helping out all week.
Remember to have a look at our video!
Next week we head to Camp Coolamatong for a 5 days and 4 nights. Make sure you have all your forms back to school and that you have an equipment list so you know what to take. It is going to be a fantastic camp full of awesome activities games. Get excited!!
Welcome back to term four! It’s so exciting to have reached the final leg of what can sometimes seem like a long year. If you ask me it has flown by! As everybody gears up for next year with a fresh bunch of grade six kids ready to take over and the grade sixes heading off to new schools it’s time to TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE. This term is your time to shine so take up that challenge and show everybody what you can do! Our unit “My Restaurant Rules” is an absolutely SPECTACULAR one and is set to thrill not just 5T and 5/6C but the whole school.
As usual the blog and wiki will be regularly updated so check them at least every couple of days for regular updates.
Zooooooommm! Term three has just about come to an end and if you blinked you might have just missed it. Term four is a big one with the camp out, school camp and graduation a few of the big events for the term. It will be an eleven week term so make sure you recharge you batteries over the holidays and come back ready for the run down the home straight.
Monday night saw the great success of the father and daughter evening where the all the girls shared a scrumptious barbeque dinner with ice cream for dessert. They all had a great time creating sensastional super hero poster which produced some very creative results!
On friday morning we will be having the mother and son breakfast which is sure to be just as exciting. It’d would be great if the kids could bring a photo along that can be cut up to produce some more wonderful masterpieces!
As part of our school’s commitment to ecological sustainability we are introducing ‘Nude Food Wednesdays’. Every Wednesday students are encouraged to bring along food that has no packaging. Reuseable packaging such as lunch boxes, resealable bags and drink bottles are acceptable. It would be fantastic to see all the students in 5/6C taking part in this not only each Wednesday but every day of the week!
